How should I describe Rachael? Being a Colorado native she is creative entrepreneur that loves anything artistic, a Moab enthusiast and has a burning passion for the beauty industry. After graduating from cosmetology school Rachael worked behind the chair focusing on acrylic nails, she then took on lash extensions and many hair & skin services. One of her main focuses now is supporting her salon team and coaching each of them.
Mandi Spaulding
Stylist/Hair Extensions
Mandi has been part of the Shear Intensity team for 13 years. Her favorite thing about the hair industry is that it's constantly evolving. She loves the challenge of learning new techniques and styles by continuing her education. She specializes in Color/ Highlights, Balayage, and Hair Extensions. When Mandi's not doing hair she is helping her husband work on their ranch. Beautician by day and barbie on a tractor by night.
Alyx Bartles
Stylist/Nail Technician/Hair Extensions
Alyx is a Colorado native that has been in the beauty industry for 8 years. She attended The Salon Professional Academy in Grand Junction, CO. Alyx is a caring, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable stylist. She pays very close attention to all the details and will make sure any client that steps in her chair is 110% satisfied. She loves sharing her knowledge with her teammates and all of the Salon’s guests. If you ever have any questions about something, Alyx is the one to go to. Aside from hair, Alyx also enjoys being a nail artist and splits her time up at the salon between the two.
Randie Murray
Stylist/Semi Permanent Makeup
Randie found a home here at shear intensity salon, after moving to Rifle. She has been behind the chair for 13 years and loves everything about it. From precision cuts to fabulous hair color makeovers, and men’s cuts. Randie is also a certified for Permanent make-up. She offers powder brows, microblading, eyeliner, lip blushing and freckles as well as lash lifts & tints. She enjoys the opportunity to apply her experience, education and love for this profession to give clients an enjoyable and satisfying salon experience.
Christine Fierce
Stylist/Hair Extensions
Christine Fierce is a mentor and motivator to our fellow beauty industry professionals. Ten years ago, Christine signed up for beauty school in Oceanside, California and had no idea how much she would fall In love with becoming a hairstylist. After school she became an assistant which gave her the strong foundation she has today. After assisting, she became manager of a salon and later opened up her own salon to feed the minds of newer stylist and launch the careers of future master stylists.
She recently moved to the western slope to enjoy the outdoors. Here she has maintained her dedication to education as a national educator for AlterEgo Italy. A new environment means new hairstylists to educate, mentor and motivate!
Her career has taken to her NYFW, LAFW and many editorial shoots but her love for growing others in their career will forever be where her heart lives. Stay current, keep an open mind and let’s grow together!

Ally has been with the Shear Intensity team for over two years and has been in the beauty industry for over three years now. She is full comso and can help you with any of your beauty needs. She specializes in blonding, but offers many services such as hair color, hair extensions, men and women haircuts, nails, lash extensions & skin services.
Julia Goodman
Salon Manager
Julia is a great support for our team and helps the salon to run smoothly. She helps coordinate events, create displays, keeps the salon organized and comfortable, and is always helping to bring in fun retail for you to enjoy. Julia would love to help book your appointments or help you with finding the right product for your hair or skin.
